Shipping & Returns

Unfortunately, due to recent import regulation changes, we will no longer be shipping to the United States at this time.  Please follow us along on social media and our newsletter for when we can hopefully announce we'll be shipping again.

Orders placed on weekdays will ship within 1-2 business days, unless otherwise specified. (We very often ship orders the same day!) Orders received on weekends or stat holidays will ship the next business day. Inclement weather conditions and sale periods may influence your shipping timeline.

Baby Footprint offers free tracked shipping on orders over $149.99 within Canada.

We insure all packages up to $100. If you wish to have more coverage, please contact us. If your package arrives damaged, or is lost, Baby Footprint can only claim up to $100 from the courier, unless extra coverage has been purchased by you.

Baby Footprint is NOT responsible for lost or damaged packages. 

*SOME items are not included in the Free shipping - most larger/bulky items. Item description will say if it does not qualify for free shipping. Please read item descriptions thoroughly* 

*Please note that packages of excessive weight or to remote areas may be subject to additional shipping costs. We are unable to know this until we proceed with the shipping. Our flat rate and free shipping options cover up to a max of $25 actual shipping costs.  Overages are the responsibility of the buyer. We will contact you by email or phone if your order needs additional shipping payment.


Orders are shipped either Canada Post Expedited OR Via Couriers if pricing is competitive. (Purolator, CanPar, UPS, Fed Ex)

Canadian Orders under $149.99 will be have a shipping fee depending on location:

 

Alberta, $12

British Columbia, Saskatchewan, Manitoba — $14

Ontario— $15

Quebec — $16

Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island — $16

Northwest Territories, Nunavut, Yukon — $18


*Rural Addresses & Po Boxes have alternate shipping options at check out due to increased costs from Canada Post.

 

 

UNTRACKED OPTION of Lettermail is available, but please note that these will NOT have tracking, insurance or estimated time of arrival, and CAN NOT exceed a weight of 200 grams and MUST be smaller than 2cm in height, thus limiting it to 1-2 diapers or wet bags ONLY. (no bum creams, liners, food/meal items, etc). 

Baby Footprint will NOT be liable for lost or undelivered lettermail shipments, it is at risk of the buyer.


Orders shipped via Expedited Parcel generally arrive within 2-7 business days, and lettermail/small packet is 4-10 business days depending on your location. We are unable to guarantee delivery times. Please consider any shipping or transit time offered to you by Baby Footprint or Canada Post to be only an estimate. 

Please carefully review your shipping address when placing an order. Baby Footprint can not be held responsible if a shipment is returned to us because the address provided by the customer was incorrect. The customer will be responsible for all costs associated with re-shipping the package to the correct address.


Local Pick-up Or Delivery

We can typically accommodate same day pick ups. Please message us if your needs are urgent so we can assist. We will contact you once your order is ready for pick up via text message or email. Pick up will occur at our store location or after hours pick up can be arranged at our home.


Packaging Details

As part of our ongoing efforts to reduce waste, we will NOT include a paper copy of your receipt with your order. You will always receive a copy via email, but if you prefer a paper copy as well, please let us know when placing your order. We attempt to be environmentally conscious with our packaging materials and we strive to reuse materials whenever possible to reduce our carbon footprint. (shipping boxes may be from products we have received, packing may be repurposed bubble wrap, plastic bags, and packing paper from shipments we have received. Some items in our store are "package free" from the manufacturer, and will arrive to you that way. In addition, some items are on our retail store shelves, so there will be price tags on some items.

 

 

Online Order Returns:

We will gladly accept the return of products that are in new condition (unused and unwashed) and in the original packaging or with original tags attached, for 15 days from the date of shipping. Return shipping is the responsibility of the customer and if items are returned that cause your total order to drop below the free shipping total, the original shipping charges will be deducted from your refund. Refunds will be issued in the same manner as purchase, less a 10% restocking fee, or the customer may opt for store credit at 100% of the items purchase price. Clearance/sale items are considered final sale

In Store purchases may be returned in new condition, within 30 days of purchase. Store credit will be issued for the return, sorry - no cash, debit or credit refunds. Sale items are FINAL sale, no returns. 

 

Due to safety and liability, face masks, feminine products, underwear and babywearing carriers are FINAL SALE. Cloth diaper returns are subject to approval.

 

Orders cancelled prior to shipping are subject to a 5% cancellation fee which helps cover the banking transaction costs.

To request a return online, please follow these instructions: 

Click here to begin:

1: In the "email" field, enter your email address, and then click "Continue". 

2: In your email account, open the email sent from our store and copy the 6-digit verification code included in the email.

3: Go back to the online store, then enter the 6-digit code. 

4: Click the order that you want to submit the return for. 

5: If your order has more than one item, select the item you want to return.

6: Select a return reason and add a note. 

7: Click "Submit Request". 

If your return request is approved and requires shipping, you will receive an email with those instructions

After the product is returned and is inspected upon our receipt, you will receive your refund.
