Les produits de Maya is a small company based in Montreal, Quebec co-owned by Marie and Yannick, a lovely couple from France with two young children.

Their ointment is a natural and creamy mixture based on an ancestral recipe from Southern France.

A no-rinse cleansing and hydrating milk with an olive-oil base that could be used for the whole family.

Known in France and in Belgium for several decades, the oleo-calcareous liniment is compatible with cloth diapers. It is used at every diaper change to clean baby. No preparation and no rinsing. Baby's skin is clean, nourished and protected. Oleo-calcareous liniment is a natural and convenient alternative to disposable wipes. Cloth wipes + liniment and it's done!

Its soothing and protective properties make it a product specifically recommended for skin hydrating. The ointment's base (limewater) restores the skin's natural appearance while the oil protects the skin (from urine, when baby's diaper is full).

Thanks to its hydrating and nourishing qualities, coconut oil leaves the skin soft, flexible and very healthy-looking, while shea butter soothes, protects and softens the skin. It keeps the skin from drying out.

Skin loves the hydrating effect of the fat in olive oil

Unlike water, olive oil won’t evaporate from the skin and, once absorbed, it leaves a protective layer behind.

A natural anti-fungal and antiseptic, lime water fights acidity in urine and balances the skin’s natural pH.

For Babies: protects diaper area, hydrates dry patches, protects skin in winter, use for massage, helps cradle cap, use to wash skin

For Family: showering (replace soap), moisturizer, massages, make-up remover, hair (dry ends), after sunbathing/waxing/shaving/tweezing, pregnancy and stretch marks, clean leather/leatherette wood furniture

Cloth Diaper Compatible

Each of the ointments all have the same natural plant-based ingredients:

Olive oil, Limewater, Carnauba wax, Grapefruit seed extract and Vitamin E (natural and vegetable)

They have coconut oil and/or shea butter added for each of the varieties.

They use only high-quality organic ingredients: organic extra-virgin olive oil from the first cold pressing, organic coconut oil, organic yellow carnauba wax, organic shea butter and limewater.

Added natural conservation agents, such as grapefruit seed extract and Vitamin E.

Ointment should be applied to the skin with a dry washcloth (cotton swab, cloth or kleenex)
It needn't be rinsed, as the thin residue will protect your skin.
Oleo calcareous ointment can be used with cloth diapers and is an ideal protection for baby's skin.
Test on inside your elbow, behind the knee and on the calf before first use.
The ointment can be kept for 12 months after opening and should be stored in a dark and dry place.
